The End of the Summer Term

It’s the end of the year!! And what a year it has been.

On behalf of ALL THE STAFF at Springdale, I want to say a huge THANK YOU and WELL DONE to all our children and their families. It’s not been easy, but you are doing a great job!

You have all worked so hard to stay safe and healthy. Lots of you have sent in great work and photos of all the things you’ve been doing during Lockdown. These have kept us smiling all the way through the last few months.

I also want to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU to ALL the staff – they have worked tirelessly to provide work to help keep you on track and also been keeping the children safe in school. The Local Authority have told us that Springdale has had more children attending during Lockdown than any other school in the City!

There is a letter on the website about the Autumn return to school on 2nd September . We have been working hard to make sure that we can keep all the children and staff as safe as possible when we are all back together in September.

The transition folder in the Home Learning Section of the website also has information from teachers in each new Year Group, so please check it out.

Please keep an eye on the website and on your text messages – we will be sharing more information with you towards September.

Last but not least, we are saying GOODBYE to our Year 6 children. We haven’t been able to hold the usual celebrations with them, but that hasn’t stopped us saying a fond farewell. Hope you have checked out the Leavers Video and the direct link to the youtube video is here We know that they will leave Springdale and go on to make us proud of them wherever they go. We wish them all the very best for their futures.

We also wish all of our Springdale families a happy and safe summer and we look forward to seeing you all in September.
